Where does fake MAC come from?

It's nice to know I'm not the only person who randomly peruses eBay to report fake MAC. :D

Anyway. I remember reading over in mac_cosmetics that iOffer is one source of the fake MAC all over eBay. You can get huge lots of fake stuff and then re-sell it; it's ridiculous. I haven't dug through the site enough to see if there's a counterfeit reporting system.

Here's an example of one of the lots for sale. You can read the exchanges between the buyers and the seller. It's so sketchy!

I'm so confused... why does the title say mascara, the picture feature eyeliner, and the description talk about pigments? Also, who needs twelve mascaras?!
